What Is Integrity Assurance Standard?

Integrity Assurance Standard (IAS) is the tenth Parent Standard of INTEGROS® —
Integrity Governance Architecture. It governs how integrity is continuously
verified, maintained, demonstrated, and assured after successful integrity
restoration.

IAS recognizes that integrity is not permanently guaranteed simply because it
has once been restored. Instead, integrity must remain continuously
observable, measurable, governable, and supported by objective evidence
throughout the complete operational lifecycle of every governed entity.

Canonical Definition

Integrity Assurance Standard (IAS) defines the governance conditions required
to continuously verify, monitor, maintain, demonstrate, and assure integrity
following successful integrity restoration. It establishes the assurance
principles, monitoring requirements, validation mechanisms, evidence models,
governance controls, and continuous oversight necessary to ensure that
approved integrity conditions remain preserved throughout the complete
lifecycle of a governed entity.
